The following basic services can be selected when booking a room. Please note that they are not automatically included in the room rate, thus you only pay for what you need.

GreenStar’s breakfast

Price of the breakfast ordered in advance – 9,00 €. Breakfast costs 10€ when to buy it at the restaurant. GreenStar Hotel Joensuu offers as well take away -breakfast with the price 4,50€. 4-12-years old children get breakfast for the half-price, children under 3-years eat for free.

Price for parking changes slightly depending on the hotel.

Extra beds for children

Cots and junior mattresses / junior beds are available for children. The cost changes slightly depending on hotel.

Free organic tea and coffee

Whenever reception is open, there is complimentary tea and coffee for our guests to help themselves to in our lobby. The tea and coffee we serve is always organic and, whenever possible, produced by our local partners. Our comfy, living-room-like lobby is designed to invite you to sit down for a moment: take out your laptop and start working or just relax and enjoy the day – over a hot drink, of course.

Bikes to borrow

We want to help our guests to get around easily – and without emissions. Our hotel has bikes and helmets for our guests to borrow for free. Cycling is also a great way to explore your holiday destination!

Free wifi

We provide free broadband for all our guests. At Joensuu, the name and password is greenstar. Elsewhere the connection is open for all. Please ask at reception for more information.

Children’s toys

Our hotels have toy boxes for our younger guests. Children are welcome to rummage through and borrow some toys to play with during their stay!

Junior mattress and baby cribs

All of our hotels have junior mattresses and baby cribs available for those who need extra beds for children. The junior mattress is ideal for children aged 12 and below (in Lahti, we provide junior beds instead of junior mattresses). The cost changes slightly depending on hotel. Please note that when you start making the booking and the system asks you for the number of people staying in the room, you will not need to include children who will sleep on a junior mattress or baby crib. After you have selected your room, the system will take you to a page where you can choose junior mattresses and baby cribs as additional services. A cot and a junior mattress can be found in the list, meaning that you can add them to the reservation at this point.

Late check-in

Feel free to arrive whenever it suits you. If reception is closed when you arrive, you can use our automated check-in machine. If you don’t have a reservation and reception is closed, you can first book a room online then use the check-in machine.

Electric car charging station

All of our locations include a charging station for electric cars – at no extra fee (both Tesla and Virta chargers). We only use sustainable, emission-free electricity, so you can be sure that charging your car is climate-friendly at GreenStar.

Laundry and ironing

Caring for your clothes has been made simple at every one of our hotels: we provide a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board for no extra cost. Ask for more info at reception.
